Senior Test Engineer

Job description

• Analyzing requirements, preparing test cases, arranging automated scripts, preparing data for testing
• Execution of both functional and non-functional tests
• Reproducing and eventual re-evaluation of defects
• Improving and mentoring our testing team
• Customer support with acceptance testing
• Quality Assurance support during the software development
• Preparation and execution of presentations and courses for partners and other testers

Years of experience

• Software testing for at least 4 years

Desired skills

• Analytical thinking
• Knowledge of testing processes and methods
• Experience with testing of information systems (from implementation and stress perspective)
• Experience with automated testing and the ability to prepare automated scripts.
• Experience with testing in either banking, telecommunication, energy, or other similar sectors.
• Experience with testing tools
• Experience with testing mobile applications
• Experience with Jira, MS SQL, SOAP UI (or other similar tools eligible for automated testing) – more advanced knowledge required
• ISTQB certificate appreciated
• Experience with either programming or scripting languages, such as C/C++, C#, VB, JAVA, Python, JAVA script, Ruby, Perl, PHP, etc.
• Experience with stress testing much appreciated

Language

• English B1-B2 level
• German B1 level big advantage
